Happy Monday

Hope everyone had a great weekend! My husband and I spent ours enjoying the perfectly warm fall weather! We spent Friday with the boys, watching the Carolina basketball game with pizza and drinks...lots and lots of drinks. I proceeded to spend Saturday recovering from one of my all time worst hangovers, ever. Sunday was spent playing Frisbee golf at the course our friends have set up in an abandoned golf course which is conveniently located right across the street from our house AND right on the sand dunes overlooking the beach, which offers beautiful views of the water. We grilled all day, played all day, friends ate and drank (while I still recovered from a lingering hungover feeling). Long after the sun went down, we indulged in some smoked deer a friend had brought back from a hunting trip and had been cooking all day. Beyond delicious! Finally we ended our night watching Sunday night football at our buddy's house with the boys and more beer, which I finally felt good enough to enjoy 1 or 2!

Pretty Bows

When I'm feeling extra girly, I love tieing a messy ponytail with a cute bow. Such a cute and simple little detail that adds alot of extra interest to an outfit.

Born Free

So while I was looking for the source of this biker chic editorial, I found this instead. A totally gorgeous Native American/ 70's Biker Chic inspired editorial:  Born Free in Vogue Germany March 2011. This is totally more my style. Like a boho 70's version of biker chic. Isn't it awesome? Makes me want to buy an old school bike and drive through the dessert.

House of Harlow

I adore Nicole Richie's line of jewelery House of Harlow. I can't even put into words how much I love every single piece. It's pretty much the epitome of everything I love, bold, colorful, big pieces of jewelery for every occasion. It's just love at first sight pretty much every time I see anything in her ri-di-cu-lous collection.
